Wensen & grenzen
Each weekday of the Dutch Design Week is dedicated to a specific mission. On Thursday, October 24, it's all about designs that contribute to improving our food, healthcare, our well-being and our most valuable asset: our health. The exhibition shows which concrete tools can emerge from the co-creative collaboration of social designers with people who have a chronic condition. One of the products presented during this mission day is Wensen & grenzen, a game designed by Ink that helps both older people with ASD and their loved ones to better understand each other in an accessible and playful way.

PONT
De Publieke Ontwerppraktijk (PONT) is a platform focused on social design, emphasizing collaborative and co-creative processes, where designers work alongside citizens, professionals, and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions for public issues. For the past few months we have been working together with PONT to see how can we make procuring a design thinking approach in government more accessible for all parties involved.
During PONT’s lively program at the Dutch Design Week, more information will be shared about the upcoming workshops we will be hosting with them.

Stichting Mensenkenners
In 2023 the Mensenkenners bike was a part of the Embassy of Inclusive Society at the Van Abbemuseum, while this year it will be on view for the whole duration of the DDW at its introductory exhibition at the Klokgebouw.
Mensenkenners, founded by Ink Social Design, is a foundation that wants to improve the social accessibility of public spaces through scalable, accessible online training for employees of shops, museums and catering establishments, among others. The People's Bicycle symbolizes the way we work on this mission: training the inclusivity muscle.

Bouw Box
The Bouw Box is a symbolic box of blocks with a magazine that encourages reflection on equality in care tasks within young families - and presents taking paternity leave as essential in the light of equality. Through reframing and experience stories, taking paternity leave becomes the norm instead of the exception.
Bouw Box was created together with ABN AMRO during our participation in the What If Lab in 2020.
