Randstad

Randstad asked us to help them design a service that enables employees to find more purpose in their work.

Roles:

Product lead, Service Design & Innovation Strategy

Insights:

Adoption to personal growth within the workspace needs to be embedded in a bigger company structure & cultur.e

Meeting people where they are. Start with who they are, then enable them to think where they want to go.

Personal growth happens in social context. Design the circumstances to that people never feel like they’re in it alone.

Design:

A 3 week online coaching program that boosts self knowledge, engagement and communication amongst employees with 15%, at the fraction of the cost of offline coaching

Chayn

Chayn is a survivor-led tech platform to empower women in abusive relationships. Our challenge was to enable women to make more informed decisions about their lives.

Roles:

UX design

Insights:

People have aversion to recognise they’re in an abusive relationship, and therefore helpline are too big of a step

Social connection is a huge opportunity for confidence building, but the relationship is often isolating them

Women do use the internet as an escape route to connect, but are extremely paranoid about any digital trace

Design:

Soul Medicine offers series of low-threshold content on self confidence, rights and possibilities and is available under disguised emails

Monuta

Monuta wants to enable elderly people to feel completely in charge of their lives. This group is often stereotyped, so we wanted to show that age is nothing but a mindset.

Roles:

Product lead, Service Design & Innovation Strategy

Insights:

Staying in control means taking decisions as they come, rather than “dealing with ageing” in one go

Technology can have belittling effects and doesn’t serve the elderly as it could because digital interfaces speak a language they’re not native to

Differentiation is key to tomorrow’s elderly population, but many elderly products are too generic

Design:

Under NDA

Peerby

Our founder, Anna, has been the Chief Product Officer at Peerby between 2013 and 2017. This is where she met our co-founder, Mayra, and she told her: “You should be a designer. The world needs more designers like you”.

Roles:

Product lead, Service Design & UX research

Insights:

People have an extreme drive to help other people out. All they need is a trigger - an ask for help

It’s not easy to ask for help

In order to get people to adopt a new service like Peerby, they need process transparency - knowing exactly what they can expect from the new service

Design:

Peerby is the world’s biggest sharing platform, enabling 250k+ neighbours to share household items with each other.
